Meghan Markle Aims to Be More Than Just Prince Harry’s ‘Plus One,’ Experts Say

An expert has recently shared insights suggesting that Meghan Markle is keen on establishing her identity beyond being merely Prince Harry’s ‘plus one’. The Duchess of Sussex, who became a part of the Royal Family through her marriage in 2018, accompanied Prince Harry to Canada for an event related to the Invictus Games.

Speaking of Meghan’s desire to be more on the three-day trip, body language expert Judi James tells the Mirror: “Meghan’s body language shows her to be super-supportive and encouraging, clearly wanting to be more than Harry’s ‘plus one’ here.”

She added: “When he squats to chat to athletes she squats right alongside him and her body language rituals define her as very much a part of him in the communication.

Observations from the event highlight Meghan’s desire to be actively involved and connected with the happenings around her and her husband. Notably, her posture and demeanor during their interactions reflected a deep engagement with the conversations.

Meghan was seen with her head positioned close to Harry’s, and her reactions seemed to sync up with his, indicating a shared experience in their discussions. This behavior suggests that Meghan is not content with being in the background but is instead eager to share the spotlight and responsibilities with her husband, actively participating in their joint engagements rather than pursuing separate agendas.

Ms. James concluded: “Meghan is in support and congratulatory mode again, walking into the shot with both hands held out in a proffered hug. Harry keeps his safety helmet in his hands though, signaling a decline of the hug, while he continues chatting to the guy next to him
