Ralph Lauren Ventures into Canada: Debuts Storefront and Digital Shopping Platform

Ralph Lauren, the renowned luxury lifestyle brand, has announced its ambitious expansion into the Canadian market, headlined by the inauguration of its inaugural retail outlet and a specialized e-commerce platform.

Situated in Toronto’s upscale Yorkdale Shopping Centre, the store signifies the beginning of Ralph Lauren’s broadened retail footprint in Canada. The move is designed to complement the brand’s established wholesale and outlet venues in the country.

Shoppers at the new store can expect a curated assortment of offerings, including the exclusive men’s Purple Label, the distinguished women’s collection, and selections from the Polo Ralph Lauren range for both men and women. Moreover, the store promises a premium shopping experience, complete with personalized services like bespoke tailoring and private style consultations.

Parallel to its physical store launch, Ralph Lauren’s new Canadian digital platform will showcase the brand’s comprehensive range of labels, from Purple Label to Polo Ralph Lauren, covering the entire gamut of menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear.

The English interface of the e-commerce portal is set for an October 11 debut, with plans for a French edition to be introduced subsequently.

These strategic developments are part of the Ralph Lauren Corporation’s broader objectives for intensified growth in North America, alongside similar pursuits in the Asian and European territories, all converging towards a vision of sustainable growth and enhanced shareholder value.

In a release, Bob Ranftly, regional CEO for North America, said: “Ralph Lauren’s ethos of timelessness and authenticity has inspired and connected with our Canadian consumers for decades, and we’re excited to bring a more holistic expression of our brand to Canada.

“We look forward to serving our consumers throughout Canada with enhanced and elevated experiences that reflect our luxury lifestyle point of view.”
