Banana Republic Dives into the Homeware Arena with ‘BR Home’

Popular lifestyle brand, Banana Republic, has expanded its horizons by stepping into the homeware sector, introducing its fresh ‘BR Home‘ line.

Covering bedroom, living, and dining spaces, the assortment boasts a variety of furnishings, illumination solutions, and decorative items. Each piece in the collection embodies one of three unique design themes: textured modern, classic chic, or explore.

Sandra Stangl, the CEO and president of Banana Republic, spoke about this new venture, stating, “Banana Republic thrives on the spirit of exploration and expressing oneself, presenting a fresh avenue to not just dress oneself but also one’s abode. We’re steadfast in delivering quality, enduring designs, and multi-functional styles to our patrons, always keeping their lifestyle in mind.”

This move follows the brand’s initiation into the home textile realm earlier this year. Owned by Gap, this progression in the homeware arena is a part of Banana Republic’s ongoing metamorphosis that took off in mid-2021, marked by a brand makeover.

In recent times, Banana Republic has been diversifying, branching out into categories like babywear and sportswear.

With ‘BR Home’, the company aims to build upon its previous successes, targeting the “modern-day explorer”. Many items in this collection are artisan-crafted from around the world.

The brand has launched a dedicated portal for this category and plans to showcase it in select US outlets by September’s end. Fans can also look forward to exclusive BR Home pop-up showcases in metropolises like New York City and Los Angeles.
