Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Under Fire for Alleged Attempt to Mask Professional Setbacks with Polished Charity Video

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have faced allegations of attempting to mask their professional setbacks by releasing a polished video showcasing the work of their charitable organization, The Archewell Foundation.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield discussed the couple’s current professional challenges with GB News, stating, “I think that this has been professionally the worst year of Harry and Meghan’s lives.” This statement comes in light of the recent release of Archewell Foundation’s 2022-23 Impact Report, highlighting the couple’s philanthropic efforts for underprivileged communities.

Schofield remarked on the timing of the video release, noting that it deviates from their usual practice of releasing such recaps in January. She suggested, “I think they’re trying to distract from the fact that everybody is recognizing that they failed hard this year and they don’t want to move into 2024 with this stamp of losers on their foreheads.”

This narrative gained traction as the couple faced criticism and was labeled each other’s worst enemies, especially after reports surfaced about their foundation experiencing a significant drop in donations. According to a Daily Mail report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s charity suffered an £8.7 million decrease in contributions.

Royal commentator Angela Levine responded to these reports with skepticism, expressing her thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter. She implied that the couple’s actions might be contributing to their challenges, highlighting traits such as impatience and spitefulness without fully elaborating.

Since stepping down from their senior royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan have encountered difficulties in maintaining their public image and relationships within the royal family. The growing rift with senior royals, coupled with their professional hurdles, has reportedly added to their struggles.

This extended period of professional and personal challenges for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex raises questions about their future endeavors and public perception as they continue to navigate a post-royal life amidst ongoing controversies and public scrutiny.
