Asda’s Little Angels Brand Branches Into Children’s Apparel

Asda has taken a significant step in broadening the horizons of its beloved Little Angels brand, traditionally known for its award-winning baby care and food products, by introducing a fresh kidswear line under its George clothing sector.

This innovative expansion presents a gender-neutral clothing collection that stands out with its vibrant, cheerful colors and modern, trendy designs. The collection is crafted to infuse a sense of playfulness into children’s wardrobes, aligning with the affordability and quality that Asda’s customers have come to expect from the brand.

The newly launched 22-piece kidswear line mirrors the aesthetic and ethos of the recently revamped Little Angels range, which includes diapers, toiletries, and baby food. The clothing line is thoughtfully designed to cater to children aged between 3 months and 4 years, offering a variety of gender-neutral options.

With price points starting from an accessible 2.50 pounds, the range boasts an array of items such as relaxed-fit rompers, casual shorts, and cozy sweatshirts. These pieces are brought to life with vivid colors, bold stripes, playful slogans, and whimsical cartoon imagery, not forgetting a practical changing bag for parents, blending functionality with style.

Glenda Hansford, the Buying and Design Director at George, expressed enthusiasm about the extension of the Little Angels brand into children’s apparel. She emphasized that the introduction of this clothing line was a seamless progression, driven by the popularity and trust in the Little Angels products among Asda’s clientele. Hansford highlighted that the core principles guiding this new venture were value, style, and convenience, aiming to offer trendy, accessible fashion options for children that parents can easily add to their shopping lists during their routine visits to Asda.
