Duke of Cambridge Trolled For Hypocrisy

Duke of Cambridge, Prince William has reacted to the shocking racial abuse that has been thrown at England football players after their loss to Italy in the Euros final. But his statement is recorded as hypocrisy.

During the match, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Bukayo Saka missed their penalty kicks, their social media were flooded with disgusting racial abuse and hatred comments. A mural of Rashford was also ruined. Prince William, the President of the FA and a die-heart fan of football condemn the abuse on his Twitter account.

He wrote: “I am sickened by the racist abuse aimed at England players after last night’s match. It is unacceptable that players had to endure this abhorrent behavior. It must stop now and all those involved should be held accountable.” People are offended at William for his statement, some found his words hypocritical seeing the royal family’s history with Meghan Markle.

Imani Gandy, the journalist and political blogger in specifically glowed a communication when she quotes tweeted William’s account and wrote, “Oooh now do the racist abuse aimed at Meghan Markle. *pulls up chair*”. And there were plenty of people who echoed her sentiment. “The hypocrisy is overwhelming,” one user wrote.

Prince William boycotted social media

“If only Meghan knew she needed to play soccer to be shown this consideration, maybe things would be different,” another added. “After seeing what happened last night, I kept thinking of them – Harry saved his family when the royals wouldn’t,” a third said.

“I wonder if they have a guilty conscience for not doing more for Meghan’s defense with the press. Or maybe they are seizing the opt to be more vocal because they’ve been called out,” another speculated. 

During Sussex’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, the couple broke silence over the media scrutiny Meghan has confronted and how the Palace unsuccessful to defend her, the newidea stated.

They also said that, as well as actuality declined a royal title, their son Archie was also abandoned when it came to safety and that a certain royal expressed anxieties about how dark his skin might be when he was born.

Resulting from the interview, Prince William condemned and denied the allegations of racism within the monarchy, telling a paparazzo, “We are very much not a racist family”, while Buckingham Palace also released a statement alleging that “some recollections may vary”.
