Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Seek Serious Reconciliation Amid Kate’s Cancer Battle

People were thrilled to see Kate Middleton looking happy and relaxed at the Wimbledon final, her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis. Entering Centre Court with her daughter Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa, she received a standing ovation from the appreciative crowd. Among the keenest observers were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who, Heat can reveal, are eager to mend their strained relationship with Kate.

An insider tells us that seeing Kate, 42, at the tournament amid her ongoing chemotherapy treatment, has prompted the Sussexes to get serious about reconciliation. “Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant,” says our source. “He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out. He’s just so grateful that she’s on the mend and able to get back to her duties after taking time off – as is Meghan.”

Harry believes Meghan can play a key role in mending fences. “It’s a sensitive subject, but Harry feels the only way back is for Meghan to reach out to Kate. Meghan has reluctantly agreed if that’s what Harry wants,” the source continues. “Harry hopes she’ll be able to have some one-on-one calls with Kate and even with Charles.”

Kate’s outing to Wimbledon was her first solo engagement of the year. Wearing a purple dress by Safiyaa London Cecilia, she beamed as she watched the men’s singles final. She shared on Instagram, “Great to be back at Wimbledon! There’s nothing quite like The Championships.”

This appearance came weeks after she attended Trooping the Colour with William and their children. Kate had stepped out of the public eye seven months ago after surgery. In March, she revealed her cancer diagnosis and has been focusing on recovery since. She updated fans last month, saying she was making “good progress” but still had “good days and bad days.”
