Donald Trump Threatens to Deport Prince Harry Over Visa Battle If Reelected

Donald Trump has sparked controversy by suggesting that Prince Harry could face deportation if he assumes the presidency again in November, amidst growing concerns over the prince’s visa status. Trump emphasized that Prince Harry would not receive any “special treatment” if it’s found that he falsified information on his visa application about past drug use.

This statement came amid discussions about the prince’s potential inaccuracies regarding his drug consumption prior to his move to the United States. Prince Harry, who has been residing in the U.S. with Meghan Markle since their departure from royal duties in 2020, is reportedly considering American citizenship. In his autobiography “Spare,” Harry candidly shared his experiences with cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms before his relocation to the U.S. Such admissions typically constitute a valid reason for visa denial, reported Daily Express.

During a conversation with Nigel Farage, Trump was questioned about the “special privileges” that Prince Harry might expect due to his royal background. Trump responded by indicating that if any discrepancies related to drug use were discovered, authorities would need to act accordingly. Farage’s inquiry about whether “appropriate action” might entail Prince Harry’s expulsion from the U.S. led Trump to state that the facts needed to be established, expressing surprise that this issue hadn’t been addressed sooner.

Trump has previously stated that he would not offer protection to Prince Harry in case it was confirmed that the prince lied about his drug use on his visa application. He justified his stance by accusing the Duke of Sussex of betraying Queen Elizabeth II, thereby leaving Harry to navigate his legal challenges independently. Despite his admission of drug use, Prince Harry reportedly denied ever consuming drugs when questioned upon his entry into the country, a query that forms part of the standard visa application process.

The Heritage Foundation has accused Prince Harry of these discrepancies and has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, seeking to disclose his immigration records publicly. The Department recently announced a delay, stating it requires an additional two weeks to gather the necessary documents before a federal judge determines their public disclosure.

This development has raised questions about Prince Harry’s future in the United States, with the full details of the interview set to be broadcast on GB News at 7 pm on Tuesday.
