Meghan Markle chooses ‘practicality’ as ’emotional’ Harry wants to go back home, Insider claims

Prince Harry is feeling anxious about his upcoming trip to the UK without Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex, expected to return to his homeland this summer, has not received a positive response from Meghan regarding the visit.

According to Closer, an insider revealed, “Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September, and also pay a visit to his aunt, Princess Anne. But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan. She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him.”

The insider continued, “She’s got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the kids. The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds incredibly painful.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Royal Family in 2020, along with their son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of displaying racism towards their son and publicly aired their grievances on television. Now residing in California, Harry and Meghan welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, and have been focusing on their family and various projects.

As Harry prepares for his solo journey back to the UK, the tension surrounding his visit underscores the ongoing complexities and emotional challenges he faces. Meghan’s decision to stay behind, focusing on her brand, new cooking show, and their children, highlights the couple’s continued struggle to balance their public and private lives amidst intense scrutiny.
