Kate Middleton ‘preparing’ for ‘The Crown’ backlash with new move

Kate Middleton has been making strategic style choices in recent months, aiming to safeguard her public image, especially with the impending release of the final season of The Crown.

According to a source from Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge is taking steps to proactively address any potential backlash from the Netflix series, which is loosely inspired by the royal family.

The source revealed that Kate, in her efforts to be seen as a strong leader, is opting for power suits, casual shirts, and more accessible clothing to redefine her public persona.

The intention is to present herself as a capable individual prepared to take on the role of queen in a new era. This shift includes moving away from long dresses and heels toward more relatable fashion choices.

As The Crown’s upcoming season delves into her early romance with Prince William during their time at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, Kate anticipates being portrayed as a “very privileged, lovesick young woman.”

The insider emphasized that Kate is determined to reshape her image beyond being perceived solely as William’s dutiful wife, aspiring to be recognized as the accomplished woman she has become.

The source explained, “Kate’s switching up her style in an effort to win people over and also to get ahead of the beating she feels her image will take when The Crown’s new season debuts.”
