Eamonn Holmes’ Nationwide Tour CANCELLED Amid Shocking Health Struggles and Marriage Drama!

TV star Eamonn Holmes was all set for a nationwide tour with his GB News co-host and close friend, Paul Coyte. Their show, Things We Like! with Eamonn and Paul, was meant to kick off on March 11. But now, it’s all been cancelled due to some behind-the-scenes drama.

When the tour was first announced in December, Eamonn shared the exciting news on Instagram, calling it the “perfect last-minute Christmas gift” and teasing shows all around the UK. However, it wasn’t low ticket sales that caused the cancellation, as initially suggested, but rather an issue with the venue itself. A source spoke to The Sun, revealing that a “disagreement with the venue about last-minute logistics” meant the whole thing couldn’t go ahead.

Now, instead of the tour, Eamonn’s turning his focus to something new: a podcast. The 64-year-old is said to have already begun recording episodes with big-name guests. An insider revealed: “Eamonn pulled the plug on that particular show, but he knows there will be plenty of other opportunities in the future. Eamonn is just cracking on with his new project and throwing himself into it. Over the past couple of months, Eamonn has been recording episodes with some massive stars for a brand-new podcast. It’s really conversational – heartfelt, emotional conversations with different names; there’s someone for everyone.”

On top of the tour cancellation, the past couple of years haven’t been easy for Eamonn. He’s been battling serious health problems, including a spinal surgery and a double hip replacement. These issues have led to him using a mobility scooter to get around. He shared his struggles with followers on Instagram, posting: “Even when the Sun shines there’s pain. Sometimes I feel I’ll never beat this disc immobility but I’m determined to have a life ….. so pray for me.”

Things have also been tough in his personal life. Last May, after 27 years of marriage, Eamonn and fellow TV presenter Ruth Langsford, 65, called it quits. Since the split, Eamonn has moved on with his new partner, Katie Alexander, 43. Meanwhile, Ruth is embracing single life and recently went on a girls’ trip abroad for her birthday. Despite the breakup, the two have stayed quiet about the details.

However, new reports suggest that Eamonn’s behaviour might have played a role in their split. It’s claimed that Ruth was ‘horrified’ after overhearing Eamonn having a cosy chat with another woman, believing he was alone at home. There are also reports that Ruth found some messages on his laptop, which she found to be “a real kick in the teeth.” A source revealed to The Sun: “Eamonn thought he was in the house alone while he was chatting on the phone.”

It’s been a rough time for Eamonn, but he seems determined to keep moving forward with his new projects. Whether it’s the podcast or other future plans, it looks like he’s focusing on staying positive despite the setbacks.
