This Hollywood Actress Refused Date with Prince Harry

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly keen on ”snagging a date” with The Hunger Games star but was left disappointed when she politely declined his offer.

Sources suggest that back in 2015, Prince Harry decided to shoot his shot with Jennifer Lawrence. He apparently asked an aide to invite her to dinner and to have a tour of Kensington Palace.

That doesn’t sound like the most romantic thing, but it does sound like Harry wanted to get to know Lawrence better. Sources say that she “politely declined,” however, which could have changed the course of history!

According to details, at that time the Oscar-winning superstar was already entangled in a high-profile relationship. In 2015, tabloids were reporting that Jennifer was dating Chris Martin, another British star and the lead singer of Coldplay.

“They were talking softly to each other throughout the meal. As they left, she changed shoes and her sweater, and she was overheard telling him she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, and they left holding hands,” a witness reportedly said.

“They (Martin and Lawrence) see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing,” a source told People magazine. “Both have full plates, and they like it that way.”

Prince Harry has supposedly had a thing for Lawrence for a few years.

Plenty of people would have ditched a British band member for a British Prince, but J. Law didn’t, and fans wonder why.

The thing is, maybe Jennifer would have been interested in Harry, but she knew better than to pursue a relationship that would no doubt have wound up fully in the spotlight. “Harry thinks Jennifer is a girl after his own heart — very chill and out for a good time,” a source said.

“Harry is looking for a serious relationship and is ready to settle down. And the way he’s thinking right now he could end up with a Hollywood wife.”
