Prince Harry Under Hot Water After Judge’s Controversial Decision in His US Visa Case

Meghan Markle has opened up about her personal life in Montecito, California, as her husband, Prince Harry, faces increasing scrutiny over his U.S. visa application. The Duchess of Sussex recently made headlines with the release of her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, her lifestyle brand As Ever, and the announcement of her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

In an interview with People, the former Suits actress shared her experiences settling into the community, expanding her social circle, and embracing a more low-key lifestyle. “I have a couple of girlfriends up here — these are stay-at-home moms and working women with normal jobs, not in the public eye,” Meghan said, highlighting how she has built relationships outside of royal life.

She further explained how these connections evolved, adding, “We went from just connecting through our kids to having girls’ nights out or doing Pilates together.” The Duchess revealed that she regularly attends yoga classes, describing an environment where she can blend into the crowd. “I’m part of yoga group classes that sometimes have 40 to 50 people in them and just walk in like, ‘Hi!'” Meghan shared.

Initially, she admitted feeling overwhelmed but now appreciates the bonds she has formed through these classes and social activities. Meghan also spoke about how the Montecito community has embraced her and her family, offering a sense of normalcy despite their high-profile status.

“Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is,” she explained. Her comments come at a time when Prince Harry is facing legal challenges regarding his U.S. visa status.

A judge recently ruled that files related to Harry’s immigration records will be released, potentially revealing whether he was truthful about past drug use on his visa application.

While Meghan continues to focus on her personal and professional pursuits, the ongoing legal scrutiny surrounding Harry could have implications for the couple’s future in the U.S. For now, however, Meghan appears to be prioritizing her growing community in Montecito and embracing a lifestyle far removed from royal protocol.
