Katie Price’s Mum Drops Savage Insult as Explosive Argument Erupts!
A family feud kicked off recently when Amy Price aimed a sharp five-word dig at her daughter, former glamour model Katie Price, during an episode of The Katie Price Show.
The tension flared over Katie missing a family event, with Amy, a mother of three, bluntly saying, “Let us down as usual!” The remark didn’t sit well with Katie, who immediately fired back, insisting, “I haven’t let you down, Mum!” The back-and-forth escalated when Katie accused her mum of “playing the sympathy card,” to which Amy responded with a cutting, “I know who thinks the most of me”, reported the Mirror.
The clash stemmed from a recent trip taken by Katie’s younger sister, Sophie, along with her children and their mum, Amy. Katie had been planning to join them but ultimately had to pull out due to work commitments—something Amy clearly wasn’t willing to let slide.
The fiery exchange has got fans talking, with many speculating on the pair’s complicated relationship. Despite their occasional public spats, Katie and Amy have remained close over the years, though their relationship has faced added strain due to Amy’s ongoing health battle.
Back in October, Amy spent three weeks in hospital, although Katie hasn’t disclosed the reason for her stay. Amy was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), in 2017. The condition causes the lungs to stiffen, making it difficult for oxygen to reach the blood, and it has had a major impact on her life.
With her mum’s ongoing health struggles, Katie has been prompted to check her own lung function. Speaking to podcaster Rob Moore, she shared, “I’m getting my lungs checked next month, where my mum went. Not because I think there’s something wrong with my lungs, but because of what mum had, (it’s) just to check.”
Over the years, Amy has played a key role in her daughter’s rise to fame, regularly featuring in Katie’s reality TV shows. Most recently, she appeared alongside Katie and her eldest son, Harvey, in Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, a Channel 4 series that followed Katie’s attempts to restore her 19-room West Sussex home after years of neglect.
Despite their latest clash, it’s clear that their relationship remains layered with love, frustration, and history. With Amy’s health concerns looming, and Katie juggling work commitments, it’s no surprise that tensions occasionally boil over. But for fans of the Price family, one thing is certain—this won’t be the last time they see these two go head-to-head.
