Prince Harry Says ‘I Feel Sorry for the Trolls’ Who Hope for His Separation from Meghan Markle

Prince Harry recently got candid about the trolls who eagerly await his separation from his wife Meghan Markle. Speaking during an interview with The New York Times for their 2024 DealBook Summit, the Duke of Sussex opened up about the constant speculation surrounding his marriage and the relentless desire of some people for him to leave Meghan.

Reflecting on the negative attention and criticism, Harry shared his thoughts on the trolls who wish for his downfall. “The people I feel the most sorry about are the trolls,” he admitted. “Their hopes are just built and built and built, and it’s like, ‘Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes — and then it doesn’t happen.’”

This interview comes amidst circulating rumors about the couple’s professional separation, with some speculating that it may lead to a personal split. However, Harry addressed these rumors head-on, especially the persistent belief that he has been divorced from Meghan “10 or 12 times” already.

Despite the ongoing speculation, the Duke’s comments make it clear that he is focused on his relationship with Meghan, dismissing the negative narratives pushed by the trolls. His remarks highlight his frustration with the constant anticipation of a separation, while also expressing sympathy for those who fixate on such events that have not come to pass.

In his conversation, Prince Harry continues to stand by his wife, reaffirming their commitment to each other, despite the endless speculation from external sources.
