Harry and Meghan Plan a Joyful Christmas in Montecito for Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are gearing up for a festive season in Montecito that promises to be full of excitement for their children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, reported by GB News. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, once again not invited to the royal Christmas at Sandringham, are planning a Christmas full of joy and special moments for their little ones.

Royal expert Jennie Bond shared her insights with OK! Magazine, saying, “Their kids are at one of the most magical stages of childhood when everything is spine-tinglingly new and exciting, and Santa is indisputably real.” Bond added that Harry’s playful and mischievous nature will make Christmas particularly fun for his children: “I think there is still a lot of the child in Harry as he was always the playful, mischievous one – and I’m sure he throws himself into Christmas fun with Archie and Lilibet.”

Despite their strained relationships with many members of their extended families, the couple is said to be focusing on their close friends during the holiday season. However, Bond noted that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, remains a significant presence in their lives. The Duchess recently shared how much she appreciates having her mother nearby, and it is expected that Doria will be a key part of their celebrations.

Regarding the holiday atmosphere in Montecito, Bond described Meghan as a “real home-maker,” and predicted that the celebrations would be “exquisitely tasteful, but also child-friendly,” with a focus on family and creating lasting memories. “I think they will join forces to create a wonderful, sunny Christmas Day with fabulous food, maybe some friends, and lots of games and music,” she said.

In keeping with their California lifestyle, Bond added, “In California, they can have a bit of a pool party to work off the food and have some fun – all very informal and very different from the Christmas festivities at Sandringham that Harry will remember.”

While the Sussex family enjoys their laid-back celebrations in Montecito, the royal family will gather in Scotland for their traditional Christmas festivities, including a walk-in Norfolk to attend the morning service.
