Veronica Leoni Appointed as Calvin Klein’s New Creative Director

PVH-owned Calvin Klein has announced the appointment of Veronica Leoni as the new creative director of their Collection division, with her debut scheduled for autumn 2025. Leoni, a 2023 LVMH Prize finalist and founder of the premium ready-to-wear label Quira, will be responsible for designing “the ultimate representation” of the Calvin Klein brand.

In her new role, Leoni will report to and collaborate closely with global brand president Eva Serrano. Her work will involve bringing inspiration from the Collection line to the brand’s main portfolio and the red carpet. This appointment is part of a broader strategic initiative led by Serrano, aimed at upholding Calvin Klein’s legacy while appealing to the next generation of consumers.

Serrano expressed confidence in Leoni’s ability to lead this new chapter for Calvin Klein. “Through her experience at brands like Jil Sander, Céline, and Moncler, Leoni is well-prepared to define a new era of Calvin Klein,” Serrano stated. She added that Leoni’s approach to design and work ethic would “result in a collection that resonates with our consumers around the world.”

Leoni, who will oversee men’s and women’s apparel, underwear, and accessories in the Collection division, shared her excitement about the new role. She expressed gratitude to Serrano and PVH CEO Stefan Larsson for their trust and confidence. “I am honored to have the opportunity to write a new chapter of the Calvin Klein story,” Leoni said. She emphasized her commitment to empowering the brand with a strong focus on style and creativity. “For decades, Calvin Klein interpreted the idea of bold self-expression, and I am willing to empower it with a strong accent on style and creativity,” she added.

Leoni’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to revitalize and modernize Calvin Klein’s offerings. Her experience with high-end fashion labels is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the brand, aligning it more closely with contemporary fashion trends and consumer expectations. By leveraging her expertise, Calvin Klein aims to maintain its iconic status while evolving to meet the demands of today’s fashion landscape.

The fashion industry is eagerly anticipating Leoni’s debut collection, which is expected to reflect her innovative vision and breathe new life into Calvin Klein’s classic aesthetic. With her leadership, the brand looks poised to continue its tradition of bold, expressive fashion that resonates with audiences worldwide.

This new direction under Leoni’s creative guidance promises to be an exciting evolution for Calvin Klein, blending its rich heritage with modern sensibilities to appeal to both loyal customers and new generations of fashion enthusiasts.
