Ben Ofoedu Breaks Silence on Explosive Split from Vanessa Feltz and Reveals His True Feelings

Vanessa Feltz has publicly expressed her regret over rekindling her relationship with her cheating ex-husband, Ben Ofoedu after he made shocking claims about their past. The long-term couple’s 16-year relationship came to a dramatic end in 2023 when allegations surfaced that the 52-year-old Phats & Small hitmaker had been unfaithful to the 62-year-old TV presenter.

Since their split, Vanessa has sought solace and new beginnings on E4’s “Celebs Go Dating.” Despite not finding love with the help of the show’s experts, she remains hopeful about finding her “Prince Charming.” Vanessa, a proud mum-of-five, also turned to dating apps to meet new people, although her efforts have yet to bear fruit, as reported by the Daily Mail.

In a recent discussion about “Love Island All Stars,” Vanessa drew parallels between her own experiences and those of Harriet Blackmore, questioning whether it is ever right to forgive a cheater. “Should Harriet forgive Ronnie? Should you ever forgive a cheater?” she asked on her YouTube channel.

She candidly shared her personal heartbreak, stating, “So listen Harriet, please. This is Vanessa Feltz talking to you Harriet. And I’m somebody who famously did take back a cheat. That was in 2017. It was a sort of Ronnie-Vint-Harriet situation where you kind of still love them and you kind of hope they’re telling the truth and you sort of believe all the sorrow and the protestations and you don’t want to be on your own, you’ve been together for a long time and all that sort of stuff. So I did and I deeply, deeply regret it. It was a hell of a mistake and I wasted well from 2017 to 2022, a really long time. Five years of my life I’m never going to get back.”

Vanessa’s honesty extends to her newly released autobiography, “Vanessa Bares All,” where she delves into her broken relationships. Ahead of the book’s release, Vanessa stated she didn’t fear a reaction from Ben, joking, “I don’t think he can read.” However, Ben has responded by distancing himself, stating, “We haven’t made peace, and I don’t speak to her.”

Now dating 29-year-old Vanessa Lana Brown, Ben criticized Vanessa’s portrayal of him, claiming, “She wrote some terrible things about me in her book, and I felt there was no need for it.” He added to MailOnline, “I just think Vanessa Feltz has done it in incredibly bad taste, and with no class at all. I would rather not have anything to do with her. We were together for 17 years and the way she spoke about me in her book just shows me I’m incredibly glad not to be in her life any more.”

In her memoir, Vanessa sarcastically refers to her ex-husband, orthopaedic surgeon Michael Kurer, as the ‘Good Doctor’ and to Ben Ofoedu as ‘One Hit Wonder’ or OHW for short.

I’m not asking for miracles, but they’ve got to be a bit attractive,” she shared. “There has to be chemistry and fun. I’m not in despair or abject panic, but it would be very nice.”

Over the past 20 months, Vanessa has been actively socializing, going out nearly every night. “I’ve been out every single night since and this is now 20 months. What’s that? 600 nights? And I’m still doing it,” she revealed. Despite her efforts, she admits the process is exhausting. “I just don’t like the idea of staying here on my own for hours and hours looking at the wall. I put tremendous effort into leading a full and vivid life [being] single, but it really doesn’t come naturally to me.”
