Tyson Fury Shocks Fans After Admitting He Has Not Spoken to Wife Paris in Three Months
0Tyson Fury has made a shocking admission that he hasn’t spoken to his wife, Paris, in three months as he isolates himself for his crucial rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. The Gypsy King, determined to reclaim his undefeated legacy, is laser-focused on his upcoming fight against Usyk, scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia. Fury, 36, is driven to avenge the only blemish on his otherwise spotless record after losing to Usyk in May by decision.
In an emotional revelation to Queensbury Promotions, Fury opened up about the extreme lengths he’s gone to in preparation for the fight, including cutting himself off from family during the Christmas season. He admitted: “It’s been a long camp, haven’t seen my wife and kids in three months. I haven’t spoken to [my wife] at all in three months. Not one word, sacrificed a lot. But it’ll all be worth it, 100 per cent”, reported by Wales Online.
The sacrifice comes after an especially difficult period for Tyson and Paris. Ahead of Fury’s first clash with Usyk earlier this year, Paris suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage just one day before the fight. The mum-of-seven made the selfless decision not to tell her husband until after the bout, wanting to protect his focus.
Recalling the harrowing ordeal, Paris told The Mirror: “I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn’t change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life.”
Paris fabricated a story about having high blood pressure to avoid flying to the fight, a choice she described as agonizing. She shared how the miscarriage was confirmed during a routine gender scan when no heartbeat could be found. “The sonographer said to me, ‘I’m really sorry, Paris, there’s no heartbeat.’ I jumped up, started to cry, and said, ‘No, hold on, hold on. No, no, wait,’ and went all frantic.”
Despite the pain, Paris praised the hospital staff for their care during the stillbirth, a process she faced fully conscious. Fury only learned of the tragedy upon returning home after his loss to Usyk. Reflecting on the moment, Paris admitted: “At the time it feels like your world is ripped to pieces… But I know everyone can get through it. And what is so traumatic one day, becomes a memory.”
As Fury trains tirelessly for his rematch, his sacrifices highlight the emotional and physical toll of elite-level sport. Paris, ever resilient, stands as a pillar of strength for their family, even through unspeakable heartbreak.
