Stacey Solomon Pleads for Help After Garden Robbery: “I’m Absolutely Devastated”

Stacey Solomon, the beloved Loose Women presenter, turned to her 5.9 million Instagram followers for help after a distressing discovery in her garden. The 34-year-old star of Pickle Cottage was left “absolutely devastated” when she found her vegetable patch had been stripped bare, leaving only the stems of her once-thriving broccoli.

In a heartfelt video captioned “Devastated, send help. What do I tell Rex?” Stacey shared her plight with her fans. She appeared visibly upset, her head in her hands, as she walked around Pickle Cottage and recounted the shocking scene.

“Oh my gosh. I’ve just come out to water the plants because the sun’s gone behind the other side of the house and it’s like great watering time for me,” Stacey explained. “I’m looking at the patch and I’m like what’s different? It looks different today. What’s happened here?”

As she continued, Stacey revealed the grim reality. “I’ve walked closer and I’ll tell you what’s different. I’ve been robbed, I’ve been robbed. Oh my god, it’s so bad. I don’t even want to look at it. I’m absolutely devastated. The deer, and it must be deer because I don’t know anything that could do what they’ve done to my veg. The deer have come in the night and literally robbed me dry of my broccoli. All of it. I’ve just got stems left.”

In the video, Stacey showed her followers the sad-looking stems that were all that remained of her broccoli. “Look I’ll show you. I’m actually so sad. I’m actually so devastated. Do I have to just rip them out? Am I too late to start again with these? Send help please.”

The response from her followers was immediate and overwhelming. In a second post, Stacey shared that she had received an outpouring of advice and suggestions, with many speculating that deer might not be the culprit.

“Broccoli rescue mission. Okay so loads of you saying it looks like rabbits,” Stacey wrote. “Also lots of you saying they might be okay so keep going. But I’m also going to plant new plants and I’m off to the garden centre to get some netting. Hoping that helps. Thank you.”

Determined to save her garden, Stacey headed to the garden centre for supplies, including netting to protect her plants. Her fans offered continuous support and advice, showing the power of community even in the face of a garden mishap.

Stacey’s plea for help and her candid sharing of her garden troubles highlight her down-to-earth nature and the strong connection she maintains with her followers. As she embarks on her broccoli rescue mission, fans eagerly await updates on her progress.
