The Duke of York, mentioned 69 times in the newly disclosed files, has reportedly isolated himself in his room for most of the week.

Royal Editor for the Mail on Sunday, Charlotte Griffiths, shared insights on GB News, revealing that Prince Andrew is experiencing a “low ebb” in the aftermath of the document release. Despite not being married, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has been described as being on “wifely duties,” providing continuous support to the Duke at their residence in Royal Lodge, Windsor.

Griffiths emphasized the ongoing mutual support between the ex-couple, stating that even though they are not married, Sarah Ferguson is tirelessly ensuring Prince Andrew’s well-being. Addressing Prince Andrew’s restricted activities, Griffiths noted, “He certainly can’t do any charity work or any royal work of any kind, especially now in the light of this second batch of documents.”

The recent setback for Prince Andrew follows the removal of his royal titles and duties, resulting from an out-of-court settlement with accuser Virginia Giuffre. The settlement followed Giuffre’s claim that Epstein had paid her $15,000 for an encounter with the royal, a claim Andrew has consistently denied.
