Sarah Ferguson’s reaction to rumours about remarrying Prince Andrew

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has openly discussed the ongoing speculations regarding her potential remarriage to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. In a previous interview with The Telegraph, she addressed the rumors circulating on social media about their relationship.

Ferguson, reflecting on her time as a royal and her current relationship with the Duke of York, remarked, “We’re happy with the way we are right now.” She emphasized the unique nature of their relationship post-divorce, saying, “We always say we are the most contented divorced couple in the world. We’re divorced from each other, not from each other.”

The Duchess, also known as Fergie, highlighted their commitment to co-parenting and supporting each other. She expressed pride in how they have raised their children, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, and maintained a strong family unit, guided by principles of communication, compromise, and compassion.

Andrew and Sarah were married on July 23, 1986, at Westminster Abbey, and despite their split in 1992 and eventual divorce in 1996, they continue to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor. This close living arrangement has fueled speculations about a possible romantic reunion and remarriage.

Recently, a friend of the royal couple suggested that a remarriage might happen within a few years. Amidst these rumors, Ferguson also shared joyful family news about her niece, Heidi Luedecke, daughter of her sister Jane Ferguson. Heidi, 27, recently got engaged to art consultant Ben Collinson, bringing a celebratory mood to the family.
