Ruth Langsford is reportedly embracing a “divorce makeover” following her split from husband Eamonn Holmes after 14 years of marriage, according to an insider. The beloved television personalities, known for co-hosting ITV’s This Morning for 15 years, announced their separation in May after marrying in 2010.
Since the breakup, Eamonn has moved forward, entering a new relationship with 43-year-old relationship counselor Katie Alexander. The pair made their first public appearance together at the Irish Post Awards earlier this month, marking a new chapter for Eamonn. Meanwhile, Ruth, 64, is reportedly focusing on herself and is determined to rejuvenate her appearance and well-being in the wake of the split.
An insider revealed to Bella magazine that Ruth has been left feeling self-conscious about her appearance following the separation and is looking to boost her confidence. “Ruth is ready for a divorce makeover,” they said. “While her marriage was great for many years, she says nothing ages you faster than the stress of a separation, let alone going through it under the spotlight,” the source told the Express. “She’s aged gracefully, but the last year has left its mark. She’s now feeling vulnerable about her age – something this industry doesn’t help with either.”
The Loose Women presenter, who has yet to speak directly about her split, recently made a playful jab during a discussion about hoarding. While on the ITV program, Ruth remarked, “I’m throwing out a lot of stuff at the minute!” eliciting laughter from the audience—a moment some interpreted as a subtle nod to her recent life changes.
