Kym Marsh and Richard Arnold to Co-Host New Channel 5 Travel Series

Morning Live presenter Kym Marsh is set to join forces with Good Morning Britain entertainment star Richard Arnold in an upcoming Channel 5 series, The Weekend Travel Show.

The new series will take viewers on a journey across the globe, showcasing some of the world’s most popular travel destinations. Across eight episodes, the program will guide people through trips taken by well-known stars, including Jane McDonald, Susan Calman, Nick Knowles, Alex Polizzi, and George and Larry Lamb.

Joining Kym and Richard will be journalist Simon Calder, who will provide expert travel advice. Other experts will make appearances in-studio segments, covering a wide range of topics from classic holiday reads to the best travel and holiday gadgets, reports Wales Online.

Throughout the show, viewers can expect tips on how to pack effectively, beat luggage fees, and get the best value when booking trips abroad. Speaking about the upcoming show, Richard Arnold said, “I love to travel and I can’t wait to dive into these wonderful travel stories and share our own fun experiences along with top tips for the viewers.”

Kym added, “I’m excited to be part of The Weekend Travel Show with Richard. What better way to explore some beautiful destinations from the comfort of your own home!”

The announcement comes after Kym’s BBC show, Morning Live, revealed it would be off the air for the next few weeks. In July, presenter Gethin Jones told viewers the popular show is taking a break over the summer. Typically, the daytime show airs on weekdays after BBC Breakfast at 9:30 am; however, it will be replaced by Rip Off Britain during the hiatus.

On their official Twitter account, Helen Skelton announced that viewers can expect Morning Live to return on Monday, August 26. In the meantime, Kym has been keeping herself busy by touring the UK in 101 Dalmatians: The Musical.

Taking on the infamous Disney villain Cruella De Vil, Kym dons a custom leather corset, thigh-high boots, and a fur coat with the iconic black and white hair, a far cry from her usual attire on the BBC show.

The collaboration between Kym Marsh and Richard Arnold promises to bring engaging travel content and valuable tips to viewers, making The Weekend Travel Show a highly anticipated addition to Channel 5’s lineup.
