Queen Elizabeth II, the First to Congratulate Meghan Markle on Her Birthday

Queen Elizabeth II was the first to congratulate Meghan Markle on her 40th birthday – according to the Daily Mail.

On the royal family’s Instagram account, the message “We wish the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday” appeared. This page is maintained by the press service of Buckingham Palace, Elizabeth II’s official residence.

The message included images of Meghan Markle and the Queen together at the opening ceremony of the bridge over the River Mersey and the Manchester Canal in 2018.

Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton joined the congrats on social media a few minutes later.

According to Free News, netizens thought Meghan Markle’s congratulations were incredibly “kind” and “worthy” in light of the recent criticism directed at the royal family by Prince Harry and his wife.
