Princess Beatrice’s Stepson Chooses Family Reunion Over Royal Christmas

Princess Beatrice’s seven-year-old stepson, Christopher Woolf, affectionately known as Wolfie, made a heartwarming choice to spend this Christmas in America with his mother, Dara Huang. The young boy’s decision highlights the importance of family bonds and shared moments.

Dara Huang, an American architect, took Wolfie to Florida for a festive reunion with her family, which included a delightful experience on a Disney cruise. This trip marks a special occasion for Wolfie, who last year celebrated the holiday season with his father, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice, and his younger half-sister, Sienna.

While Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi joined the traditional Sandringham walk, both Wolfie and Sienna were notably absent. However, earlier this month, Wolfie did participate in the royal festivities, attending Princess Kate’s ‘Together At Christmas’ carol concert at Westminster Abbey alongside other young royals.

Wolfie, who has mostly been shielded from the royal spotlight, made his first appearance at the annual Sandringham walk last Christmas with Beatrice and Edoardo. He is deeply cherished within the royal family, with Beatrice referring to him as her “bonus child” and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, warmly embracing him as her grandson.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was previously engaged to Wolfie’s mother for three and a half years before their separation in 2018. He then proposed to Princess Beatrice in 2019, and the couple married in July 2020. They welcomed their daughter Sienna in September 2021.

Sarah Ferguson has expressed her affection for Wolfie, emphasizing that he is very much a part of the family. She regards him as her grandchild, alongside her first biological grandchild, August, son of Princess Eugenie, born in February 2021. A spokesperson for Sarah confirmed this sentiment, stating, “Wolfie is already a very much-loved member of the family and the Duchess is very keen to stress that she sees Wolfie as their grandchild too.
