Prince William Struggles with Protecting Kate Amidst Harsh Criticism in ‘Endgame’

Prince William is reportedly grappling with feelings of guilt for not being able to shield his wife, Kate Middleton, from the harsh criticism levied at her in Omid Scobie’s latest book, ‘Endgame.’ According to royal expert Jennie Bond, who spoke with OK! Magazine, the attacks in Scobie’s publication have struck a chord with the Prince, particularly because of the promise he made to Kate’s parents to care for her.

Scobie, who is often perceived as an unofficial voice for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, referred to Kate derogatorily as “Katie Keen” in his book, implying she is not engaged enough in her royal duties and that the palace is making excuses for her.

William is said to be feeling both guilty and angered by the situation. “The attacks from Omid Scobie were vicious, so William will feel guilty because all she’s done is fall in love with someone who happened to be a future king,” Bond remarked.

Despite the difficult circumstances and the ‘vicious’ nature of the public attacks, William remains immensely proud of Kate, who has consistently shown resilience and strength, living up to her role as the future Queen Consort. Bond commends Kate’s long period of adjustment to royal life, often referred to as her ‘apprenticeship,’ which has been invaluable in preparing her for the rigors of royal duties.

This narrative highlights the challenges that come with royal life, especially in the face of unrelenting public scrutiny, and underscores the Duke of Cambridge’s protective instincts towards his wife.
