Prince William Is In Great Trouble! Being Slammed For Condemning Racism In Sports But Not In Firm
Prince William expressed his views and fortified the English soccer players from racism attacks but not all were overwhelmed, a report says.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their eldest son, Prince George, cheered England at the Euro 2020 Final. Though Italy exhausted them and the Black players from the team tolerated racism attacks encouraging Prince William to break the silence.
Prince William made a post on Twitter and criticized the racist abuse aimed at the Black soccer players on England’s national team. Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Bukayo Saka received criticism after they missed penalty kicks.
“I am sickened by the racist abuse aimed at England players after last night’s match,” he wrote on Twitter. “It is totally unacceptable that players have to endure this abhorrent behavior. It must stop now and all those involved should be held accountable.”
Though, Prince William’s expressed views raised some eyebrows especially that he endured silence when his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, was criticized by trolls. Several questioned why he has only reacted now and did not stand to defend Prince William’s wife, micky wrote.
Sussexes and Cambridges are often rough against each other, it is an open secret as well. Many were dissatisfied when Cambridges remain silent for Meghan Markle amid the attacks aimed at her.
Several experts emphasized that royals do not comment on such issues. Also, they are popular for the “never complain, never explain” mantra. So, a great number of Sussex supporters were annoyed when the Duke of Cambridge unconfined a statement to support the athletes.
One netizen claimed Prince William’s statements would have genuine reliability if he had fated the racist abuse designed at his sister-in-law Meghan and nephew Archie. The employer said that his quietness and involvement powered what he convicts at the present.
A different online user claimed she valued Prince William being open up about the racist comments towards the athletes. Yet, the same netizen asked why he didn’t do the same for Markle when she was frightened and anticipated suicide during pregnancy.
