Prince William disclosed his plan for the royal family saying, “We’re in the planning process”

Prince William shared exciting news about potential future travels during a recent appearance alongside Theyazin bin Haitham, the heir to the Omani throne, at the Royal Geographic Society in London. The event highlighted the Prince of Wales’ commitment to strengthening ties with Oman and supporting environmental conservation initiatives.

Notably absent was Princess Kate, who recently completed her chemotherapy. While she did not attend, Prince William’s focus on royal duties remained steadfast. According to the Mirror, the future king revealed plans for an overseas trip aimed at deepening connections between the royal family and Oman.

Speaking with crew members preparing for a challenging expedition, Prince William said he would “try and make something happen” regarding another visit to the Middle Eastern nation. “We’re in the planning process,” he added, though the report clarified that William is not planning to join the expedition to Oman in January.

Kensington Palace later shared photos of Prince William’s engagement with Theyazin bin Haitham, highlighting his role as Patron of the 2025 Jewel of Arabia Expedition. The expedition aims to inspire young people to tackle environmental challenges and protect Oman’s unique biodiversity.

“Proud to be Patron of the 2025 Jewel of Arabia Expedition,” the palace captioned the post. “The expedition will celebrate brilliant young people tackling environmental challenges. Inspiring the next generation to appreciate and protect Oman’s beautiful biodiversity is what it’s all about.”

Prince William’s involvement in such initiatives underscores his dedication to fostering global collaboration on environmental issues, a cause close to his heart. His plans to strengthen royal family ties abroad align with his growing role as a statesman and future king.

While specific details of his travel remain under wraps, the Prince of Wales’ comments suggest that meaningful engagement with Oman is on the horizon. This potential visit could further cement the longstanding relationship between the United Kingdom and Oman, while also spotlighting efforts to address pressing environmental concerns.
