Prince William Adorably Admits His Sweet Tooth: “I’m a Sucker for Anything Chocolate!

Prince William recently embarked on a significant engagement as the Prince of Wales, visiting a college on his Duchy of Cornwall estate, a responsibility he inherited from King Charles following his ascension to the throne. During the visit, the future king got candid about his love for sweets and even shared some details about his wife, Kate Middleton’s, dessert preferences.

While touring the college, Prince William visited the criminology department and stopped by Sam’s Café, which is managed by chef Darren Watson. According to HELLO!, Chef Watson has been experimenting with various desserts in an effort to find the ones most loved by the British Royal Family. During the visit, he presented Prince William with a special refrigerated breakfast cake, a treat that mirrors one of the layers of the prince’s own wedding cake. The dessert was made from chocolate, butter, sugar, cream, and biscuits.

Upon receiving the sweet treat, Prince William expressed his gratitude and admitted his fondness for desserts. “Thank you very much, that’s very sweet of you. Any kind of sweet thing I will take—I’m a sucker for anything chocolate and anything sweet,” he said.

The prince also delighted the chef by revealing Kate’s favorite dessert, acknowledging her love for sticky toffee pudding. After the chef mentioned the pudding, William responded, “Very good,” confirming it as one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s top dessert choices.

This engagement had been on Prince William’s schedule for some time but had been postponed due to Kate Middleton’s recent health concerns, including her ongoing battle with cancer. Now, with Kate on the path to recovery, William has resumed his duties, continuing to connect with the people and places that are part of his royal responsibilities.

This visit not only highlighted Prince William’s down-to-earth charm but also offered a glimpse into the couple’s personal preferences, further endearing them to the public as they prepare for their future roles.
