Prince Harry ‘Utilizing’ the Support of Helpful Princess Eugenie: ‘His Go-To Royal’

Despite the strained relationship between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family, there remains one member who has continued to offer support to the Duke of Sussex: his cousin, Princess Eugenie.

According to Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, a close friend of the York family, Prince Harry has maintained a connection with Princess Eugenie, and her presence has proven valuable in bridging the gap between him and the rest of the family.

“I think for Harry, Eugenie is his go-to royal,” remarked Anthony in an interview with Hello!. “I think those cousins are very close, which is good, and I think Eugenie acts as a bridge between Harry and the rest of the family, which is really useful to have.”

Anthony also fondly recalled attending Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in 2018, a time when the royal family was united in celebration. He noted that the event brought a sense of togetherness and family bonding, a feeling that has evolved since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex departed from their royal roles.

“It was a joyously happy occasion. It was lovely to see the whole of the royal family united to celebrate Jack and Eugenie’s wedding,” he said. “It was nice to see Harry and Meghan there. A lot has changed in the last five years for the royal family, but this goes back to a time when there really was a moment of togetherness and family bonding.”
