The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry rushed to the US for the support of his wife Meghan after a sad event. On Thursday, Harry was in London for his mother Princess Diana’s statue unveiling at Kensington Palace.
Then within 24 hours of the event ending, he packed up and headed back to his wife and two kids, Lilibet and Archie. The Sun revealed last week that Mike Markle, who was Meghan’s uncle had died at the age of 82. In a report from “a source”, the publication demanded the 82-year-old passed away after fighting with Parkinson’s disease.
It has been said that the former diplomat was amicable with his niece Meghan and even arranged an internship with the American Embassy in Argentina when she was 20-year-old and shared her interest in foreign relations.
As per reports, Mike never met Prince Harry in his life, not after Meghan got married to Harry, but The Sun’s source said he was “proud” of Meghan. “He would always stop for a chat to say how proud he was of her even though he didn’t often agree with how she went about things,” they told the publication.
“He would usually just chuckle and say, ‘It’s not every day you have a prince in the family, though, I suppose!'” On 1st July, Prince Harry emotionally unveiled Diana’s statue alongside his brother, Prince William.
