Prince Harry releases statement after King Charles offers olive branch

Prince Harry is set to embark on a new journey, fueling speculations that King Charles may be seeking to initiate peace talks with his estranged son. According to Express.co.uk, the Duke of Sussex will visit New York City in September for two significant events.

The former working royal’s spokesperson confirmed that Harry will be attending the UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week. These high-profile events are scheduled for late September, with Climate Week running from September 22 to September 29, and High-level Week taking place from September 23 to September 27.

The announcement revealed that Harry’s visit aims to “advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives.” The statement further detailed that the Duke of Sussex will participate in engagements with organizations including African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst.

Additionally, Prince Harry will be “furthering the work of The Archewell Foundation,” the nonprofit organization he co-founded with his wife, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.

This announcement comes at a time when reports suggest that King Charles may be looking to mend the rift with his son. According to these reports, the monarch’s spiritual advisors have encouraged him to settle the feud with Harry.

As Prince Harry prepares for his upcoming engagements in New York, the royal family—and the public—will be watching closely to see if this visit might pave the way for a potential reconciliation between father and son.
