Prince Harry refuses to tell Prince Charles details about upcoming bombshell memoir

Multiple sources revealed that Prince Harry did not inform Prince Charles about his explosive book. What’s worse is that the palace officials only found out about it through an article posted by Page Six.

One of the news outlet’s sources revealed that the Prince of Wales was surprised after the Monday announcement.

“No one knew,” one royal insider said. “There was chaos when the Page Six story came out.”

In his recent interviews, the Duke of Sussex repeatedly slammed his father and revealed the pain and suffering he caused.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the Prince already began writing the untitled book. He aims to publish it by next year.

Prince Harry’s massive memoir deal
This week, Page Six reported that the royal prince will get at least $20 million in earnings as soon as he publishes his memoir. Prince Harry allegedly teamed up with the publisher that also gave former POTUS Barack Obama and Michelle Obama a $65 million book deal.

Per the news outlet, the royal prince sold it to Penguin Random House. He also collaborates with his co-writer, ghostwriter J.R. Moehringer who will receive $1 million in advance.

In comparison, Prince Harry might see a million copies sold soon after its release as the Obamas nearly hit the mark. Michelle’s book Becoming became the fastest-selling book in 2018. It sold over 725,000 copies on the first day of publication.

Meanwhile, Barack witnessed the selling of 800,000 copies during its first day.

Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle revealed that there will always be a risk whenever they score big deals.

“Commercial risk is part of our business … The first book has worked fantastically well and I have great confidence that the second book [President Obama’s memoirs] will also be a great success,” he told Financial Times.

Even Meghan Markle scored a deal with the publisher, releasing her children’s book The Bench through the company’s children division.

After securing the work with Prince Harry, Dohle expressed his and the company’s excitement to work with the royal.

“Prince Harry has harnessed his extraordinary life experience as a prince, a soldier, and a knowledgeable advocate for social issues, establishing himself as a global leader recognized for his courage and openness,” he went on. “It is for that reason we’re excited to publish his honest and moving story.”
