Revocation of military titles forced Prince Harry to go to Oprah Winfrey

Washington, June 21. A source close to the royal family said the reason why Prince Harry agreed to a controversial interview with American TV presenter Oprah Winfrey.

The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle announced that they are giving up royal privileges, in early 2020. The couple was given 12 months to review their status, but Prince Harry and his wife, who moved to the United States, eventually confirmed that they would not return to the royal family.

After that, the grandson of Elizabeth II was stripped of his military titles, which made him very angry and forced him to go to Oprah Winfrey.

“He is very emotional, and his military ranks were very important to him, given that he served even in hot spots,” a source told The Sun.

In a controversial interview aired on American television, Meghan Markle said that she had faced racism in the royal family. According to sources, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s conversation with Oprah Winfrey has only worsened Prince Harry’s relationship with his family.
