Prince Harry Heartbroken After Eviction from ‘Forever Home’ at Frogmore Cottage

Prince Harry has been left heartbroken after being evicted from his “forever home” at Frogmore Cottage. The Duke of Sussex is reportedly searching for a permanent UK address for his family after being forced to leave the residence.

In his memoir “Spare,” released last year, Harry expressed his deep affection for the UK and detailed the pain of being evicted from Frogmore Cottage. The property was given to Harry and Meghan as a wedding gift by his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2018. However, when King Charles ascended the throne, he decided to evict the couple.

Harry wrote: “Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop.” In his book he also spoke about how much they both loved the property. Harry said: “We loved that place. From the first minute. It felt as if we were destined to live there.”

Royal commentator Tom Quinn has told The Mirror that Harry is “sad” that he doesn’t have a British address and misses some of his old friends. Quinn said: “As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.

The royal commentator added: “He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan. “Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.”

Since 2020, Harry and Meghan have lived in California after stepping down as senior royals and relocating to the US. Frogmore Cottage has since become a focal point of a Royal Family feud between the Duke of York and King Charles.

Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has reportedly been asked by King Charles to move out of his current residence at Royal Lodge and downsize to Frogmore Cottage. So far, Andrew has refused to comply, leading to a stalemate between the brothers.

King Charles currently funds Andrew’s £3 million a year security bill, as the Home Office removed his police detail once he stepped down from official duties in 2019. As Harry continues to search for a new UK home, the eviction from Frogmore Cottage remains a poignant chapter in his life, symbolizing the ongoing tensions and changes within the Royal Family.
