Prince Harry Told to Make First Move in Ending Rift with Kate Middleton Amid ‘Pathetic Warfare’

Prince Harry has been encouraged to visit his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, following her announcement that she has completed preventative chemotherapy and is now cancer-free. As tensions within the Royal family remain high, Harry is being urged to take steps toward mending his bond with Kate, with whom he shared a close relationship before his departure from royal duties.

Royal commentator Kelvin MacKenzie shared his thoughts on the ongoing family rift during an appearance on GB News, calling the public feud “pathetic warfare.” MacKenzie expressed disappointment over the continued division within the family, especially as Harry recently visited the UK to attend the WellChild Awards.

MacKenzie believes Harry should be the one to make the first move, particularly in light of King Charles and Kate’s health challenges. “This is a long, drawn-out kind of war. All families have these issues,” MacKenzie explained. “The thing I would most like to see is actually Harry going to see Kate. It would be good to see whether something could be done there.”

The royal expert further noted that while reconciliation with his brother, Prince William, might be difficult, a reconnection with Kate could be more likely. “It’s unlikely to be done with the brother. I mean, the father’s got cancer. The sister-in-law has got cancer,” MacKenzie added, pointing to the family’s recent health struggles.

MacKenzie emphasized that it’s Harry who should take the initiative, given that he is not facing illness. “It is incumbent on Harry to make the first move. Right? He’s the one who is not ill. It’s pathetic to see this kind of warfare played out in public.”

As Kate recovers and continues her royal duties, many hope that this moment could inspire Harry to bridge the gap with his family, beginning with the sister-in-law he once had a close bond. Whether or not the Duke of Sussex will take this opportunity to reconnect remains to be seen, but the situation highlights the importance of family support in times of personal challenge.
