King Charles ‘Must Apologize’ in Tough Talk with Meghan and Harry, Asserts Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan, the former host of “Good Morning Britain,” recently shared his insights on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s use of their royal titles, predicting potential outcomes from their anticipated meeting with King Charles. Despite stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan continue to use their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, a point of contention that Morgan believes should be addressed by the King.

During an appearance on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Morgan expressed his opinion that the couple should no longer use the titles bestowed upon them by the monarchy. “They shouldn’t be using the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bestowed on them by the monarchy,” he stated, suggesting that an upcoming conversation between the couple and King Charles might involve the revocation of these titles.

Morgan hinted at the possibility of an apology from King Charles, but noted that such a discussion is unlikely in the near term due to the King’s recent health issues. “I hope that King Charles—who is massively distracted by his illness—will at some stage have that conversation and say, ‘You can’t keep the titles. I’m sorry,'” Morgan added, indicating that the King’s current focus on his health might delay this potential confrontation.

The timing of Prince Harry’s upcoming trip to London coincides with the King’s presence in the city, as Harry is set to attend a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. This visit raises the prospect of a father-son reunion, coming after a brief encounter in February following the King’s cancer diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Meghan continues to expand her professional endeavors, having recently announced her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, along with a forthcoming podcast in collaboration with Lemonada. She is also involved as an executive producer, alongside Harry, in a new Netflix polo show, with further details expected to be revealed soon.

As the royal family navigates these complex personal and public dynamics, the global audience remains captivated by the unfolding saga, particularly in light of Morgan’s comments which reflect broader discussions about the role and responsibilities of modern royalty. Whether King Charles will address these issues during his upcoming meeting with Harry and Meghan remains to be seen, but it is clear that the conversation could have significant implications for the family’s public perception and internal relations.
