Oprah Winfrey Sold $14 Million Mansion in Billionaire Hotspot of Washington State

After purchasing her Orcas Island, Washington estate for $8 million in 2018, Oprah Winfrey just sold it for $14 million.

The 43-acre property is situated on the water, with stunning views of the San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest. The main house has three floors, with 10,251 square feet, four bedrooms, and three and a half baths.

On the property, there are numerous more homes with facilities such as a greenhouse, a beach, and a spectacular wine cellar. The interior of the main house has been entirely refurbished, with repurposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and plenty of natural light.

The second-story entertainment loft, which includes a screening room, music studio, and shuffleboard, is the home’s true showpiece. Although it’s disappointing that Oprah didn’t get to enjoy the home, it’s worth noting that she still owns a business on the island with her longtime fitness trainer, Bob Greene.

They have a number of commercial properties on Orcas Island and intend to keep investing there. According to the source, Wally Gudgell, Oprah’s real estate broker, told the real-estate publication that the host of the talk show was “too busy and never going to really use it,” since these days, she spends most of her time at her Montecito.

At least, the new owner will be able to enjoy the home, but we must admit that Oprah has impeccable taste when it comes to buying property and restoring it to its full beauty – according to the source She Knows.
