Mom Goes to Sleep with Period Pains and Unbelievably Never Wakes Up
0Anne-Marie, a 39-year-old mother, tragically died in her sleep after experiencing an intense period of discomfort. Amanda Barber, her elder sister, recounted the heart-wrenching moment when she received a call that her younger sibling had passed away.
While at work, Amanda noticed missed calls and messages from her sister’s partner. Upon returning the call, the words “She’s gone” shattered her world, initially misinterpreting them to mean that Anne-Marie had left the house following a disagreement, the M.E.N reports.
Anne-Marie had complained of severe abdominal pain the night she passed away, resorting to painkillers for relief. Having lived with endometriosis for years, a condition where tissue akin to the womb’s lining grows elsewhere, she was familiar with the discomfort. That fateful night, her partner, unable to wake her, attempted CPR and summoned medical help, but it was tragically too late.
Leaving behind a 21-year-old daughter, Bethany, Anne-Marie’s unexpected death has devastated her family. Amanda, struggling with the loss, expressed the heartache of having to pick a coffin for her sister at such a young age.
Remembered for her infectious laughter, exceptional singing talent, and love for Shania Twain, Anne-Marie had a vibrant social life before her health declined. Amanda reminisced about her sister’s social life, particularly her fondness for karaoke and managing pubs.
Above all, Anne-Marie was an adoring aunt who left a void in the lives of her six nieces and nephews. In her memory, a fundraiser has been organized to support the family during this trying period. For those wishing to contribute or learn more, a link has been provided.
