Meghan Markle gets roasted by SNL comedian for her Christmas card photo

In the latest episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL), Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, found herself the subject of comedic jabs for the Royal Family’s Christmas card photo. The skit, led by SNL cast member Colin Jost, humorously highlighted a perceived photoshop mishap involving Prince Louis’ missing finger, with a playful remark from Meghan about lending her own finger.

This isn’t the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been fodder for live shows, as the couple has been a recurring target for humor in recent months. In a recent episode of Family Guy, the animated series poked fun at Meghan and Harry, portraying them lounging by the pool as a butler delivers an envelope containing mysterious millions from Netflix.

The comedic spotlight on the couple continued as Bill Simmons, head of Spotify’s global sports content, called out Meghan and Harry following the end of their multimillion-dollar deal with the audio platform. The scrutiny over the couple’s Hollywood deals intensified after the conclusion of Markle’s podcast Archetypes.

Even Comedy Central’s South Park joined the fray, satirizing the Sussexes in an episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour.” The animated show depicted Harry and Meghan as hypocritical figures seeking both privacy and attention, with scenes of them being labeled royalty in Canada while simultaneously appearing on global talk shows and stages.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex navigate the entertainment industry, their public persona continues to be a source of comedic material in various live shows.
