Meghan Markle prioritises ‘peace’ over ‘negative feelings’ amid royal feud

Meghan Markle is reportedly prioritizing finding peace and moving forward, distancing herself from the ongoing tensions with the royal family. According to a family friend who spoke with US Weekly, the Duchess of Sussex is determined to leave the past behind.

“After Spare, [Harry and Meghan] realized, ‘OK, we’re ready to move on. We want to focus on our future,'” the friend shared with the outlet, referencing Prince Harry’s memoir that brought significant attention to the couple’s relationship with the royal family.

Now, Meghan and Prince Harry are concentrating on building a meaningful life together for their children, Archie and Lilibet, separate from the royal institution. The friend emphasized that Meghan understands the importance of letting go of past grievances in order to achieve peace. “Meghan doesn’t harbor any negative feelings. She just wants peace, and knows you can’t find peace if you harbor resentments,” the friend explained.

The source also revealed that Meghan’s team has stopped engaging with the relentless tabloid headlines about her relationship with the royal family. “Meghan’s team gets asked daily to comment on stuff that has nothing to do with their lives now,” the friend said, adding, “They have left it behind.”

As Meghan and Harry move forward, their focus remains on their family and future, leaving the drama of the past behind in pursuit of a peaceful life.
