Meghan Markle is Planning a New Strategy While Prince Harry Returns to Familiar Roles, Experts Suggest

Prince Harry seems to be doing well as he carries on his charity work, this time without Meghan Markle by his side. The Duke of Sussex has been keeping busy with his own efforts, both in the UK and South Africa, leading some to wonder if the couple is shifting their focus toward more individual projects.

After attending the WellChild Awards in London, Harry jetted off to South Africa, where he made a heartfelt appearance, shining a spotlight on his charity, Sentebale, in Lesotho. Sentebale, co-founded by Harry and Prince Seeiso, helps support children and young adults affected by HIV/AIDS.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams commented on Harry’s recent string of public events, noting that they’ve been surprisingly low-key. “They’ve been uncontroversial and he hasn’t given any interviews,” Fitzwilliams told GB News. “Perhaps something is being planned that we don’t yet know about.” He went on to say that Harry’s new Netflix docu-series on polo doesn’t feature him much, suggesting that the Duke’s focus may be shifting.

“Maybe this is part of a bigger plan, with Meghan working on her Netflix cooking projects, and Harry doing more solo work,” said Fitzwilliams. This change could hint at the couple finding new ways to manage their public lives while pursuing personal passions.

Interestingly, Harry’s charity work feels familiar to royal watchers, reminding them of his time as a senior working royal. Fitzwilliams pointed out that Harry’s solo activities have gone “tremendously well,” showing how naturally he engages in these charitable causes. “It’s like old times,” he observed, as Harry seamlessly interacted with children and families, just like he used to when he was part of the royal family.

Fitzwilliams added, “It’s been very interesting – he spent a few days in New York, then returned to London for the WellChild Awards. He’s been involved with them for 15 years, so it was lovely to see him back in action, interacting with the children and families.”

With his recent solo work being a success, many are curious to see how this potential new strategy between Harry and Meghan will evolve. For now, it looks like Harry’s charity work is bringing him back to familiar territory, with a renewed sense of purpose.
