Meghan Markle is now being weighed out for £100million

Los Angeles, CA – Meghan Markle’s cooking show, With Love, Meghan, has reportedly sparked internal discussions about whether she remains a worthwhile investment for Netflix. Amid questions surrounding the show’s future, speculation continues over whether the streaming giant will sign Markle on for a renewal.

According to The Sun, a TV insider revealed, “Netflix has been broadly pleased with the show and doesn’t care if the reviews are scathing.” The insider further explained, “The streamer’s name has been on everyone’s lips for the past week and that’s a victory for them.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s £100million deal to make shows with Netflix may not be renewed — despite Meghan’s lifestyle show getting a second series.

However, the decision to continue the partnership remains uncertain, as executives weigh the financial benefits of extending Markle’s deal. “There is now a big question of whether they feel that striking another deal represents value for money, or if they feel that they have explored all the opportunities they can with the couple,” the insider added.

Despite mixed reviews, With Love, Meghan has already been greenlit for a second season. The series briefly landed in Netflix’s Top 10 watch list within hours of its debut, signaling audience curiosity, even if its long-term success remains debated.

While Netflix has yet to make an official announcement regarding Markle’s broader future with the platform, the debate over whether her content delivers strong returns on investment continues within the industry.
