Meghan Markle has the ‘guts’ and ‘self-belief’ to run for US president

Meghan Markle could use her high-profile connections to promote her political ambitions, according to a royal biographer.

Meghan Markle is allegedly setting her eyes on the White House. Several unnamed sources claimed she wants to be the next U.S. president. Royal biographer Tom Bower shared her thoughts about the matter.

British writer and well-known royal biographer Tom Bower shared his thoughts about the Duchess of Sussex’s rumored plan to join the politics. For Bower, Meghan Markle has the “guts” to push it and she might be able to pull it off.

“Meghan certainly has the guts and self-belief to fight to the top of the greasy pole,” Bower said. “The question is whether she has the stamina.”

Bower believed that Markle is convinced her destiny will soar towards greater fame and fortune. Also, she has the connections to make it happen.

Bower went on and explained the possibilities of Meghan Markle joining politics and her future in the field. According to him, Markle could tempt California’s power brokers to promote her own political ambitions the way she seduced the royal family.

“Although her political rhetoric is skeletal and her skin is thin to criticism, surely that is the next step on her Crusade for Goodness,” he added.

If Markle gets the support of the Democrat godfathers including the Clintons and the Obamas, she could find a way to get herself nominated in one of the state’s 40 Congressmen to Washington.

And if the Californians support her “Crusade for Goodness, then she could potentially establish her political roots in just two terms or four years. Also, Bower believed that if two Senate seats come free and if Markle has mastered the trade at the time, she could win the race.

Bower noted that Markle would be a strong candidate because she’s a mixed-race woman. Markle could also run for the state’s governorship, which is among the most prestigious offices in the country. So, 10 years, she could justify a bid for the Democrat nomination for the presidency.

One should note that Markle has not addressed the presidential rumors. However, many were convinced that running for the highest office is one of her goals.

Some of the netizens were even supportive. In fact, last year, a fake website came to life amid rumors she would join the presidential race. According to The Sun’s royal correspondent Matt Wilkinson, the website looked “promising.”
