Meghan Markle fight back against Piers Morgan

Meghan Markle has ‘aggressive legal team’ to ‘fight back’ against Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan could feel the wrath of Meghan Markle according to a royal biographer, who says she is preparing a team to take on the former Good Morning Britain presenter

Meghan Markle is thought to be assembling a “very aggressive legal team” as she prepares to respond to Piers Morgan’s accusations in the past weeks.

Since the 39-year-old Duchess of Sussex spoke to Oprah Winfrey in an explosive interview, in which she made a number of allegations about how she was treated by the Royal Family, former Good Morning Britain host Piers, 56, has been spitting feathers.

After quitting his role on the ITV breakfast news show, Piers has been looking to discredit Meghan and the claims she made, challenging her to clarify some of her points that she made.

Piers has given a couple of bombshell interviews of his own this week, speaking to Tucker Carlson on FoxNation and Billy Bush on ExtraTV, as he took his argument stateside.

After a week of accusations, Meghan is now getting ready to strike back at Piers, though it would not be in response to his challenges.

Speaking on TalkRADIO, royal expert Angela Levin warned Piers that Meghan is getting ready to bite back.

She said: “Meghan has a very, very aggressive legal team and I think it’s always amazing what these lawyers can come up with.

“I think Piers is a brave man but let’s wait and see.”

Angela continued: “I think she will come up with something or they will come up with something really extraordinarily unusual which they will try to take the better of him.

“I imagine that the lawyers are working out if there is a sentence or a verb or something that Piers said that they could jump on.

“So I think it is a bit precipitous actually to say she hasn’t come back yet.”

This follows from Tuesday night, when Piers claimed he had received messages from the Royal family expressing their “gratitude” over his remarks after Meghan and Prince Harry’s tell-all Oprah chat.

Speaking to Extra’s Billy Bush, he said: “I’ve had some messages communicated to me on behalf of several members of the Royal Family.

“I’m not going to go into who it was… but gratitude that somebody was standing up.”

Viewers called for the host to name the royals, after Piers demanded Meghan give names for the people she claimed did not help her when she was struggling with her mental health while living with the royals.
