For the common person looking in, although we might have some sympathy for the invasion of privacy, the fact that she married into such huge privilege counters this.” Mansfield adds that Meghan might have to accept the situation and endure the challenges that come with it.

Simultaneously, a bus tour advertised as the ‘Royal Celebrity Tour of Los Angeles and Montecito’ has stirred controversy. The tour, led by Karl Larsen, a friend of Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, offers an experience that showcases celebrity hotspots, including locations associated with the Sussexes. However, this initiative has faced backlash due to concerns about privacy intrusion.

Christopher Bouzy, a tech entrepreneur, criticizes the tour as a form of “harassment” directed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Bouzy emphasizes that this instance exemplifies the worrying transition from online harassment to real-world consequences. He underscores the need for robust legislation to address this growing problem.

In response to the backlash, Larsen clarifies his intentions, stating that he does not plan to drive past the Sussexes’ Montecito mansion. Instead, he aims to focus on places relevant to Meghan’s upbringing, including restaurants and spots she frequented.
