Meghan and Harry face trouble in paradise as couple ‘clash’ over Duke’s ‘homesickness’

As the festive season approaches, rumors swirl about a potential Yuletide rift between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Sources suggest that Harry is longing for a British Christmas and to mend ties with the royal clan, while Meghan, on the other hand, seems content staying in the US.

Since their dramatic exit from royal duties, the couple has settled into their luxurious Montecito residence. The Duke’s recent memoir, “Spare,” and their Netflix documentary have further fueled speculations and tensions, laying bare Harry’s grievances with the Palace, particularly concerning Meghan’s treatment.

However, Harry’s nostalgia for his homeland and family appears to be growing. Insider Katie Nicholl remarks, “There’s a sense Harry deeply misses his family, especially during such times.” UK publications like The Mirror even suggest that Harry might be considering a more permanent return.

In stark contrast, Meghan, originally from California, reportedly remains distant from most of her family, except her mother and niece.

A key element driving the Duke’s desire to return might be his wish for his children, Archie and Lilibet, to bond with their UK-based royal cousins, a connection they currently lack.

But, even if Harry does make the transatlantic trip, mending bridges won’t be easy. A notable rift exists with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who, after the revelations in Harry’s memoir and Meghan’s Oprah interview, has been described by royal analyst Jennie Bond as “deeply hurt”. Bond commented, “Kate has often played mediator, but this might be a bridge too far.”

The looming holiday season is set to be a revealing one for the royal dynamics, with fans and critics alike waiting to see if the Duke will make his Yuletide journey solo.
