Meghan Markle’s stance on Prince Harry’s temporary royal role revealed
0A royal expert has shed light on Meghan Markle’s strong opposition to the idea of Prince Harry temporarily resuming his royal duties to support his cancer-stricken father, King Charles. According to expert Tom Quinn, the Duchess of Sussex was firmly against the possibility of Harry returning to his royal role, even temporarily.
Quinn told the Daily Express that Harry, the Duke of Sussex, had made the offer with the understanding that King Charles would likely accept it. However, Quinn believes that Harry was well aware that even if the monarch had agreed to the arrangement, Meghan would not have supported him going back to his royal responsibilities, even for a short time.
“He said Meghan, in particular, is ‘absolutely against’ Harry returning to royal life,” Quinn explained, citing Meghan’s concerns about the fractured relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal family.
“Harry knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the UK. The family no longer trusts him and, besides, Meghan is absolutely against it.”
The expert emphasized that the ongoing tensions and “bad blood” between Harry and the Royal family make it unlikely that any such arrangement could take place. “There is far too much bad blood now for it to be even a remote possibility,” Quinn added, reinforcing Meghan’s influence on Harry’s decisions.
This revelation sheds light on the ongoing dynamics within the Sussex family and their relationship with the Royal family, highlighting Meghan’s strong stance on Harry’s role within the monarchy and the impact it continues to have on their lives.
