ITV Viewers Can’t Stop Talking About Lulu’s Unbelievable Appearance on Lorraine

ITV viewers had plenty to say about Lulu’s vibrant appearance on Tuesday’s edition of Lorraine, where the “Shout” singer shared her style opinions and lively commentary. Sitting down with stand-in host Ranvir Singh, Lulu discussed her latest book and quickly made waves with her frank takes during a fashion segment focused on the classic leopard print.

Joining the conversation was fashion expert Dilly Carter, who dove into the history and styling options of leopard print. Ranvir kicked off the segment, saying, “Fashion. Now, I love a memo. I got the memo. Lulu is here. We’re talking about leopard print.”

Dilly, in an outfit that complemented Ranvir’s, joked, “We would have blurred into each other,” referring to her decision to opt for a subtle take on the print. Lulu was quick to interject with her trademark straightforwardness, saying, “I have very strong opinions about leopard print; don’t even get me started.” Ranvir encouraged her, laughing, “Well, we will get you started”, reports the Mirror.

Dilly expressed her love for the bold pattern, saying, “This is my favorite week ever because I love leopard print… It’s a really confident, bold print, and that’s why people wear it nowadays.” Reflecting on how leopard print has become a go-to look, she added, “We even had Michelle Obama in a leopard print suit over the weekend.”

Lulu, unable to resist adding a remark, commented on Michelle’s recent appearance, saying, “Did you hear her speech last night, everybody? Check it out. Unbelievable.” Dilly continued the segment, showcasing different looks featuring the print, including a ruched leopard print dress on a model named Jane. She praised the dress, saying, “Ruching is great, especially if you’re paranoid about your stomach. It holds you in and makes you feel more confident.”

Lulu jumped in again, noting, “The black jacket really makes that outfit; on its own, it would be too much.” Attempting to make a point about fashion for “a woman of a certain age,” Lulu was met with Dilly’s enthusiastic disagreement, who insisted, “I actually think that she looks incredible.”

The conversation took a fun, nostalgic turn as Ranvir brought up the era of Bette Lynch, known for her bold leopard print looks. Lulu laughed and agreed, saying, “That’s my thinking.”

The lively exchange quickly sparked reactions from viewers on social media, many of whom found Lulu’s candidness refreshing. One viewer wrote, “Lulu, calm down,” with a laughing emoji, while another Scot shared, “#love you #Lulu from fellow #Scot #lorraine.”

Lulu’s straightforwardness drew applause from fans, with one enthusiastic viewer tweeting, “Lulu’s fab and straight-talking. I’d absolutely love her to do a fashion segment! #lorraine #lulu.” Another joked about her impact on the segment, writing, “Lulu bulldozing the runway segment…”

The consensus among viewers was clear: Lulu’s unfiltered take on leopard print fashion brought an entertaining spark to the morning show, leaving fans calling for more of her lively fashion insights. Whether she’s dismissing trends or doubling down on style critiques, Lulu’s honesty was a hit, adding a dose of realness that had fans cheering.
